In 1992 he purchased and foresaw an esteemed future with Canadian Portable Structures, not just for our family, but for the employees who would also work there. With his earlier professional experience as an entrepreneur, he always saw value in bringing forth a business which was sustainable yet also unique, as he knew how important it was to stand out from the rest.

CPS offers fully customizable structures for all different client bases, and even from the outset, he had a strong sense of pride in knowing CPS would sustain and have room to grow into what it has evolved into today. From simple smoke shelters to now fully integrated in plant offices, or in your own backyard, the possibilities are endless! CPS is successful because of the people who stand behind the brand. When my Father walked out the doors of CPS in 2011 due to what we all hoped for was a routine MRI, he never shared a worry about the business because of the people working here; ‘the work family’ would steer the ship ahead, and could weather any storm. My Father never stepped foot back through those doors, and today, I could not be more honoured to carry on his legacy amid our walls, and the walls created for all our customers. To me, CPS is not just a business. It reflects the past through many years of success and loyalty shown by our dedicated team of employees and our customers; bringing my Father’s vision of success to life; the present in our ever evolving product line and innovation through our projects; and future in all the ‘nifty things we can create for you’. Turned out nifty wasn’t so cheesy after all, We look forward to working with you!
